Meet Our Principal and Dean

Kip Lynk

Greetings Chargers!

My name is Kip Lynk and I am the new Principal of Dassel-Cokato Middle School. I am excited to return to DCMS after being away for 19 years. I taught 5th grade here from 1999-2007. There are now several staff members here that were my students or athletes I coached during that time.

In my free time, I enjoy watching my kids in their activities, traveling with my family, golfing, and doing radio play-by-play for Dassel-Cokato sports.

A new school year means new opportunities for growth. I am excited to see you in our halls and classrooms.Go Chargers!

Carol R

My name is Carol Riemenschneider, and I am the Dean of Students at DCMS. I grew up in Delano, MN. I have taught for 14 years in K-8 classrooms at HLWW and taught 7th and 8th ELA at DCMS. This is my third year at DCMS and my first year as Dean! I have also coached volleyball, softball, and middle school speech.

My husband, our two young sons, and myself, live in Silver Lake and our family enjoys hiking, trivia nights, golf, cheering on the Vikings, and spending time with family.

My goal as the Dean of Students is to build positive relationships with students and families, while ensuring each student feels a sense of belonging within our school community. Please watch for information from me regarding attendance, behaviors, school bus procedures, middle school activities, and academic eligibility. I also serve as DCMS Student Council advisor, and I am excited to celebrate our student successes throughout the school year.
